Reality Break: Bobbitt held in domestic violence case

John Wayne Bobbitt, whose penis was sliced off in a domestic dispute more than a decade ago, was arrested by Las Vegas police last weekend on domestic violence charges.

The arrest was at least the third for the quasi-celebrity, who became famous in 1993 when his wife at the time used a knife to cut off his penis.

Police arrested Bobbitt about 7:50 a.m. Saturday in an industrial area on the 1900 block of Western Avenue after his current wife said he pushed her to the ground, officer Jose Montoya said.

Bobbitt's lawyer said his client is innocent.
