What do you think? I think we are gonna get screwed a lot more before it gets better. I think we will see $3.50 gas prices within a week and they will claim it is because of damage to Texas refineries.

Cuss and Discuss here. Predict if you feel like it...

5. Oh, hell. Absolutely. Not to mention the "gas" scare we are going to
have to listen to on Saturday/Sunday/Monday ("Gas lines out! East coast gas stations out of gas!")

It's a crock of shit, and furthermore, the "oil families," in the US....The Bushes, the Cheney's, the Hinkley's (yes, THOSE Hinkley's...personal friends of the Bush family) etc...are rubbing their grubby little hands together right now as I am typing.

Bend over, America.

Oh, and for the freepers here that actually believe this horseshit...whatever. Just pay at the pump, and beg for more.

15. Of Course they are.
They just doubled the price and will probably go to about the $4.00 dollar range because Americans barely groaned when they shoved the gas in the pipeline up a buck.

18. Yes, we are likely to see 4 to 5 a gallon within 7 days.
I hope not, but as someone who works (peripherally) in the industry, everyone is sweatin' this one!
I think we are as likely to see it drop as quickly as it rises. Not because of what the cabal thinks of public opinion. Because they realized after Katrina hit they haven't the military presence in the states to declare martial law and quiet the masses. I think the cabal also expected municipal law enforcement to stay on the job and not leave to attend to their families. The reaction of the NOLA police force (justifiable in my opinion!) shocked the cabal as well. One more muscle that they cannot count on when the chips are down and they need to control the population.
bushco is not going to risk that, not without muscle here to keep us quiet.
What's most worrisome is what this is going to do to us..food cost, chemicals, pharma. In 3 to 6 months we will see obscene price increases on the shelves. That is what I'm worried about.

20. Does * ask Laura's permission before he shits in the woods?
Even if not a single rig or refinery is damaged, the oil companies will seize this opportunity to raise prices again. At the very least, they can claim that they were out of work for half a week and that this has created a back log.

Every time I see it I get freaked out. It used to be a perfectly acceptable name.
