Salt Lake - Street preachers vs LDS, agnostics join in, hilarity ensues.

(snip)

Devin Allen was protesting against the LDS faith with about a half dozen other street preachers. He had been sneezing into the garments, wearing them around his neck and placing them on his buttocks while the conference crowd watched.

(snip)

A group of four men made the crowd laugh when they stood outside the conference center carrying "Protestors are going to hell" signs, and "I'm with stupid" signs with arrows pointing toward the protesters.

At first, the group got awkward looks because they were shouting like the street preachers.

Josh Peters, who describes himself as agnostic, said he spent the weekend in front of the conference center with friends Adam Welling, Sean Johnsen and Ryan Roylance because he doesn't like the street preachers insulting Mormons.

"It's just plain disrespectful," he said. "So I came out to protest them by making fun of them. That's pretty much my plan."

2. I just wanna know....
How these protestors got the "holy underwear" they were blowing their nose in. You can't buy that stuff at the Park City WalMart. And yes, that was disrespectful to take it that far.

4. Don't get me started
The protestors only provide ammunition for the basic church programming principle that if the detractors are so adamant, it must be true. The garments are easily gotten from ex-Mos who have dared to stop wearing them. Like I said, don't get me started.

5. To bad it's in Salt Lake, it would be fun to help out a good cause
Any group or person that cannot take a little levity about stuff they try to put all over the street all day long don't know to much about human nature

A couple lines in the article gave me a good for a belly laugh

"Amen to that," said Welling, who carried a "What Would Jesus Protest?" sign.
They tried to drown out street preachers' shouts of "You people are following the false religion" with "I'm louder so I must be right."

As a Jack Mormon, let me tell you if any group of fundies qualifies for a cult status I think these folks would win the BINGO
