Just what has happened to our country when the DOD instructs congress that he may consider releasing information in a closed session, but orders his people to NOT tell the Senate anything in public?
Just WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE IS? Let me venture a guess. He is a public servant. We live in a republic which relies on public discourse, exchange of information and public discussion. By preventing any information from getting to our citizens, they are attempting to prevent the public's input into decision-making.
THAT, WE CANNOT AFFORD.
