1. Looks like Bay City will be ground zero for this.
Yikes. And shit.

That sucker is so BIG, though! It can touch Florida, Cuba and the Yucatan Peninsula all at once. THAT is what is really freaking me the hell out. It's going to engulf (no pun intended) the coast.

5. I can vouche for that!
I'm in the north half of Okeechobee county, approx. 80 miles south of Orlando, and I'm STILL getting FEEDERBANDS!!!! This thing only went thru between CUBA and the KEYS!!!! Just HOW damn big IS this thing?!?!?!

I know this much folks, take it from an ol' FlawriDUH boy like me, THIS THING IS GOING TO BE BAD, and I mean BAD. And I said the SAME thing when Katrina went thru Miami, and I'm saying it again, folks, this is NOT going to be good. I can feel it in my bones, the pressure IS LOW. My dogs are going KOOKOO and they ONLY do this when a storm is coming or just passed thru, so if you're in Texas on the Gulf Coast, GET THE FUCK OUT OF DODGE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Crawford's still on the storm track. It will have dissipated...
... a lot by the time the storm center reaches that point, but there will be some high winds and plenty of rain in that vicinity. With the current TS wind radius of 175 miles, Crawford will get hit with some of it.

Good thing Bush doesn't have any livestock--he's a bit too far away to be getting them in the barn....

9. If god wanted to get Crawford
Wouldn't a tornado work better? It seems to me like if god was mad at * he/she'd wait till * was there. No sense in all the collateral damage. Just because * doesn't care about collateral damage doesn't mean god doesn'l

7. and it is exactly
one and one half Billion miles of the most boring drive possible between Houston and Dallas.

I am sitting in Austin right now at panic central it seems...I wnt to the Grocery store to by a case of RC and some beer, and got caught in the pre-looting stampeed for bottled water--- I will say however that it was almost exactly like that last winter when the great blizzard was predicted to innundate the city with something like a half inch of snow.

DON'T PANIC---Galveston is perfectly capable of handling their every few years storm, and if its worse than it usually is, then we can all deal with it then--everyone seems ready for it unlike last time---I for one, trust the city Govt. in Galveston and Houston both---Houston may have some flooding issues, but they can be dealt with.---Let's all just see what the weather brings rather than adding hot air to it..:hide:

13. Hmmm...not comforting. The 1AM Sunday position seems to be right over
my adopted home town. My father still lives there.
