1. PLease put a warning in the title of your subject
because it's kinda graphic. Some people may not want to look at that right now...

3. Thanks, and I have to add
How pissed I am at seeing these seemingly uncaring soldiers sit there with their guns pointing at that child who is obviously in shock. The gun may not be pointed intentionally but it's still facing towards her, towards the ground. My god, pick her up and comfort her instead of standing there with your fucking guns.

20. According to the article
they were using the lights on the guns to illuminate as the medics worked.

22. Do you think they care?
I see no nametags and one with his face hidden (This is the American way?). They have fallen to a level of self preservation and are murdering innocents whenever they feel threatened. Pathetic. And the survivors will eventually be walking among us, with mental problems up the gazoo.

I wonder who took the photos?

4. The pictures are from several months ago.
Not to diminish the seriousness but it's not a recent incident.

9. I know...but it angers me everytime I see her...
I have a son about the same age as the little girl, and these photos anger me... I wonder what would happen to him if his mother and I were shot dead. I wonder who would take care of him since we have no family in the area... I wonder who would comfort him when he's splatter with my blood, sitting and crying.

I just get so angry. So angry...

6. The US is a nation of horrific barbarians
My heart breaks when I see these photos. These poor children are scarred for life. They are of the generation of Iraqis that will hate America with a seething force we've never seen. And we deserve it because we brought it on ourselves.

:scared:

Criticism of the War is here. But stopping the War is something new to this generation, even though it's a greater

10. Freedom is on the march.......
freedom from the living hell george bush created for them anyway. Why doesn't the fucking idiot stop this insanity? I don't believe in either heaven or hell, but I hope the blood of all the people's lives he's so cavalierly wasted drowns him in his sleep at night.
I'm betting the fucking retard bush hasn't seen one image like this of what he's done. He's kept in a bubble where no information gets in that might upset him. I'll wager a months pay he's never seen the face of a single victim of his murderous folly.
Prison would be too good for bush.

24. Maybe once in jail, it would be possible to kind of...
stick many pictures of his "murders by delegation"

up the bars of his rottin' cell ("looking" inward)?? O8)

Or coerce him into viewing sessions "Clockwork Orange" style...

The link is a good one, there are many threads with pictures there, not just the ones you linked to. I've saved it, thanks.

21. Unfortunately, in wartime even a small mistake
can lead to something like this. Honestly, I almost feel sorry for these soldiers. They have to live with what happened there that night for the rest of their lives.

16. When I was 12, I found my father's body. He'd had a fatal heart attack...
... just moments before -- the bubbles of spittle were still present on his lips.

That moment -- every detail of what I saw and felt -- is imprinted on me forever.

That poor girl... death, blood, gunfire, smoke, shouting, anguish, horror...

It will never leave her.

19. The "Pro-lifers" have no problem sticking fetus pictures
in everyone's faces. Some pictures of barbaric death caused by George Bush should be displayed at every anti-war/anti-bush rally.

23. I've seen this picture before ....
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 12:25 PM by Ian_rd
For me, that photo (at least so far) is the defining image of the Iraq War, much like the famous image from Vietnam of the naked girl running down the street with other locals. This child's orphanage, and the pain that she will endure for the rest of her life is George W. Bush's creation, along with so many other crimes against human beings that will pave his way to the lowest depths of Perdition.

So I'll say it too, Mr. President. I'm willing to believe in Hell just for you, and I hope you rot in it you murderous son of a bitch.
