3. The More They Pick On Us The Stronger They Make Us

The old sales axiom is "say good, say bad...just say". Keep your name out there. It's like the flasher...when someone walks past, he opens his coat...and you look. You're either turned on or turned off, but you look just the same.

It's great to see the tremendous growth of the netroots. Sites like DU, Kos, Atrios, Ameriblog and Crooks & Liars are growing in volumes that are beyond their wildest expectations...while the right wing blogs are hard-pressed to get much attention these days.

The major progressive blogs are must reads inside the beltway and this must be driving Rushbo and his ilk nuts. They've been so used to not having anyone call them on their bullshit or counter that bullshit with the truth. The spins aren't working like they used to...someonething's gotta be done.

His idea is to demonize the blogs as the latest "librul" conspiracy. You know that 45% of the country that thinks asshat is doing a poor or bad job (as opposed to the 27% who say he's doing good/excelent) is to be beaten down...shouted down, demonized, intimidated into backing down. Nice try...but too late...too many chickens are now coming home to roost.

El Rushbo, in his Infamously Useless Wisdom, stated his philosophy.

He answered "fan" inquiries about why PigMan didn't respond to X, Y or Z attack (including on him). El Pigbo explained that it was his established policy to not mention the name of his adversaries because that would give them recognition (as in Name Recognition).

So, NOW, the Racist Rodeo-er names DU, Kos, MoveOn and others ALL THE TIME. Hardly a day goes by without Dumbo promoting the most energized movement for a long time.

PigMan has seen what's happening, and opposite his own "philosophy," he just can't help mentioning the Good Guys over and over and over and over. Maybe he's secretly hoping to be saved?
