I have an idea for the oil companies' excess profits.

when katrina hit, i read a post on here somewhere that had pictures of the levee system in holland.

they were magnificent engineering masterpieces.

since the oil companies are making so much money they don't know what to do with it, why don't they look into that type of technology where the create barriers to the storm, effectively protecting their assets and the communities around them.

hope that the oil co's care about us. Now While we can never expect the oil co's to do this themselves, our government could make them. to have our government force them into this you would have to believe they care about us as well.
