it still makes you wonder, as many posts here have postulated.

imagine the ancients trying to understand hurricanes and volcanoes and earthquakes and tsunamis. it's only human to feel this way i suppose, even though in our modern times, we explain these events scientifically.

but i'm not surprised when people see these events as the wrath of god or gods.

3. This is why I just don't understand why true real Christians don't
see that God is just really upset with Bush. I mean if you truly believe in God and what he's all about, he can't possibly be happy with what Bushco has done and plans on doing; and it just feels like God is showing Bush just who is really in charge around here. Bush's arrogance has plain pissed God off.

5. Never mind the Ancients!! They understood giving back to the earth!
I think we as a modern civilization have regressed. The ancients did't just think it, they KNEW IT! I really do think that these are the signs many people believe signal the beginning of the end! I am a Christian, and I know my Scripture very well. NO I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE BIBLE THUMPING SO CALLED CHRISTIANS that talk the talk, but can't walk the walk! I do believe in God, or a higher power and creator, whatever you choose to call Him or Her. Revelations tells us "there will be wars and rumors of wars" as well as earthquakes and natural disasters. I think, my friend ,that we're seeing only just the tip of the iceberg. I don't think that God is punishing us, but Lord knows some of us need chastizing. I believe this is something we all brought upon ourselves for not being good stewards of the earth He gave us. It's time to re- evaluate what things are important in life and get our priorities straight. We need to stop global warming if it's not too late, because nature has a delicate balance, and it looks like we've blown it my friends. The love of power, and greed, and looking out for numero uno may be our undoing!!:dilemma:
