If you turn back and forth between CNN and MSNBC, you notice MSNBC is using a tape delay on Bush's speech. Are they afraid he'll say something stupid that they have to bleep? That he'll start cursing uncontrollably? That he'll have a nervous breakdown? What?

say "Go f*ck yourself, Mr. Bush." (Never happen - the only time Bush is show with "the little people" is at a strictly controlled photo-op - and all the backgrounders are told to wear "working people's clothes")

I do wonder, isn't the Secret Service supposed to be guarding the VP, too? Or was the SS told to keep a distance so that it looked like Cheney was braving the elements all by himself?
