Software for those who want to follow Rita
I use this software on the Windows side of my computer. I have turned on a lot of people who run weather-sensitive business to this software and they all love it. It is free and is the best I have seen for the average user. It is just the thing for all to track this storm.

Weather Pulse: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/weatherpulse.html

I cannot recommend it enough. The picture section is fantastic beyond fantastic.

2. You haven't experienced
any bugs, spyware and such? I'm so afraid to download something like that.

3. Nope.
None of that, and my computer(Windows x64 side) is probably a lot more secure and capable of detecting nasties than your and most. I do computer stuff for a living(Bwahaha!!! Living. <sniff>).

Besides, Snapfiles checks all their recommended software for nasties and does not list it if it carries such things.

This is best-of-breed software. Trust me.

I downloaded it both in IE and Firefox and get an error message for both when I try to run it.

5. The only problem I have found
is that it has so many map and radar options that it is a little hard to navigate. After a little work you can jump from regional to local and all points west and keep an eye on the whole world.
