George W. Bush now has a campaign blog. Matt (Dean's blogmaster) will have more on this in the morning, but in the meantime, inspired by an a different Texan, I'd like to issue my own personal response:

Mr. President, I'm a blogger. I know blogs. Bloggers are friends of mine. And your site, sir, is not a blog.

We welcome all readers of this new somewhat blog-like site to use this as an open thread to discuss what you think of it, because the Bush folks aren't interested in letting anyone comment.

1. Dear Blog (Bush writes):

Today was a great day! I finally found a way to make Connie (Condy Rice) a top dog. Now, maybe she'll like me better, since I'm gonna let her run Iraq for a while.

After that, I took a little nap, drank some be--, er, coffee, and ate some chips. Didn't touch the pretzels, though. That Dick Cheney. He's so funny with all those pretzel jokes!

Later, I picked my nose in the Oval Office. The press were there, but I managed to do it without being seen. I rolled my booger a little, and I swear, it looked just like Ashcroft's new haircut! I saved it to show him later.

3. What an insult...

...of course, the Bush regime isn't interested in its people's wishes, just like Saddam. Not interested in the views of those that might disagree with their ideaology and their methodology.
