Will there be any media reporting from storm area?
There are to be no sanctioned shelters in Houston:

Gas stations were running out of gas and grocery stores were emptying of all nonperishable items, White said. He reiterated that there is no safe place to stay in low-lying and flood-prone areas of the city, and there won't be shelters in the city.

"There will be no central place for people to go," White said.

The mayor said everyone but emergency responders should leave.

Maybe he's reasoning that more will leave if there is no shelter, but that sounds as risky (and as faulty) as not sending food and water to NO because it might have discouraged people from leaving.

Brian Williams was at the Superdome during Katrina, so there were early reports of conditions within the city.

Safety is, of course, a vital consideration, but has the plan for TX effectively shut out the press? Is there any local media feed, like NOLA?

2. Bill O'Lielly is going to camp out...

...in Galveston and try to blow the storm back with his big bag of hot air. Let's hope he loses the battle, but it might be close.

3. why don't we ask Oberman, and Williams and Cooper that question
they will get the real answer and I'd bank on them telling it like it is.

What I'd LOVE to see, is all of them out there on the highways that are NOT moving... talking to people.... that ought to shine a nice big bright light onto some REALITY.

Another mess
