Give this panhandler an "A+" for originality...
I lost it when I opened this week's issue of the City Pages (a Minneapolis/St. Paul alternative paper) and saw the following photo:

2. Maybe It's True
But, I'd go with Ninja lessons. I've studied Ninja and believe it to be superior to Kung-fu, from a practical standpoint. : )

5. Reminds me of the guy I saw here in Kansas City
He was holding a sign that read: "Forget the food. Will work for booze."

When someone would laugh or smile at the sign, he'd flip it over to the other side that read: "Now that I made you smile, isn't that worth a donation?"

You'd be surprised how many people handed him money.

6. There was a guy who used to hangout on Venice Beach in California
with a sign that read simply:

"Why Lie? I need a beer."

:)
