2. It's certainly time for Democrats on the Hill to make public just how much
money would be available for hurricane reconstruction and preparedness if the Bush taxcuts were repealed or had never been foisted on us in the first place.
What are they doing about this?

6. Repeal the Bush taxcuts !
They were foolish to begin with. We were in a very shallow recession so there was no need to put us into this situation. In fact, some have argued that Bush and Cheney talked us into a downturn just before the election. Democrats need to take a stand. Repeal the damn taxcuts for the wealthy. Our nation is going down the damn tubes! We cannot afford to fight two wars and pay for all costs associated with two major disasters just weeks apart. We cannot take anymore of this insanity. Speak up Democrats! I know you are scared shitless that they will call you a "big-taxing liberal" but screw them. People know what needs to be done. We cannot stand more debt and more taxcuts. And all the talk about GDP is a bunch of bullshit. Otherwise, why would Bush and the Republicans be so concerned about Social Security going broke?? Why can't we just borrow the difference?
