Stating that he got into the race to late, and failed to raise enough money to campaign effectively, Sen Graham leaves the race. I think that the extra shoes are begining to drop. Will Lieberman be next, or will he have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the convention floor screaming "DOOMED, WE'RE ALL DOOMED, I TELL YA! FORTY YEARS IN THE WILDERNESS!"

Where are the disappointed Graham Crackers? Where are the gloating other candidate supporters? I didn't support him, but I thought he brought a lot to the table. :wtf: Is it me? Do I smell?

2. He was a good voice

It's not that you smell, but that this subject has been covered in multiple threads already. :)

Personally, I think he added a bit to the conversation. He was Florida's most popular governor, and has done much good. I was impressed with his diary and his periodic "day in the life of regular workman" jobs.

I'm a bit ambivalent about candidates dropping out. On the one hand, they all add something to the conversation and help raise issues, which is good for all candidates, and helps them refine each other. On the other hand, soon or later, people will need to drop out. And when they drop out, they allow the remaining candidates to have more time and depth of discussion. A debate with two guys allows you to go more in depth than a debate with ten guys.

Large field = more breadth of discussion
Small field = more depth of discussion.

3. I think Lieberman will stay in for a while

But I do think he'll leave with dignity. With Deans popularity and Clark in the race, he doesn't have much of a shot, and one would hope he knows it.

4. Its too bad...but

I'm glad in a way because Fl has brought some real asses out who want to take his seat here and believe me we want Bob to stay our sen.....he's about the only voice Fl has.....Sent him an E-Mail and thanked him for giving it a shot....he DID bring out some facts about bush....and the country heard whats really happening in the WH

5. Sad that it had to come to this

I guess I am now officially undecided again in the race for the Dem nomination.

I remain baffled why Bob Graham couldn't generate more support than he did over the last six-to-eight months.
