What is it with Bush and incompetence?
Lets see, we've got:

A 24 year old undergrad, (psychology major) who is now in charge of rebuilding the Iraq stock market..

An Arabian horse guy running FEMA...(yes, he retired, still..)

A male veterinarian as the Director of Women's Health...

I forget her name but some new woman is now in a power position at I.C.E. whos says she'll "Work closely with those that have more experience.." (what the INS used to be...)
Randi Rhodes said it right, why weren't THOSE poeple hired?!?

And those're just a few examples of the cronies G.W. hires!! UGH!

1. Clinton would have been crucified for similar appointments
luckily, most folks he appointed were pretty competent, or better.

4. Being able to run a department matters not...
just as long as you know how to say, "Yes sir."

5. Bush doesn't hire anyone.
He simply it's in charge. He is like any CEO. Out of touch with the actual workings of the people under him. He simple puts an ok to the people recommend to him by those subordinates he trusts. There is no real management this country.

6. Looks like incompetence is the "talking point" of the week. But - hey
we all know it is the neocons who do all the policy. They are the ones who are incompetent and drunk with power and war games.
