This simple canuck wishes the best for those who could not leave the path of Rita.

My heart goes out to all of you and I hope, wish and pray that all will stay safe, be calm and make do. I wish there was more that I could do.

My prayers are with you. I have read accounts of folks who cannot get cash because it is in short supply. I have also read about the fuel shortages and the deadlock on the interstate. It serves to remind me just how fragile our society is really. There is still time yet. Be calm. A mind does not work well in panic mode. Now is not the time to abandon your fellow men, or your rationale. Help each other. Walk, if need be. And above all....don't abandon your principles for a mob mentality.
