#2 BUMPER STICKER thread of the evening.
I saw this one on a nondescript car.

"I READ YOUR EMAIL"

My husband thought it said past tense (sounds like RED) but couldn't come up with a reason for the sticker.

I thought it was sinister and implied that someone in a company (or somewhere) was present tense (READ-ING)the email.

Any takers on this one!

1. I take that as present tense.
it reads much better that way.

4. So is this the bumper sticker of a company spy? Or just a person
trying to slough his/her way through the 250 spam messages received every day?

I don't get it. But that's just me...

7. to me it just puts the message out bluntly.
People are paid to do that every day. CIA, NSA, etc.... Seems like a great way of just being blunt with this issue. Someone's gotta be doing it right. Maybe that is their job and they're just rubbing your nose in it. Maybe its just a catchy way of reminding you that someone is doing it to you right now.

2. Standard hacker goodie

available at ThinkGeek and other fine nerd shops. Basically, it's just sysadmins having a bit of fun, and is probably harmless (unless you see it near Ft. Meade/Quantico/Langley).

6. OK, you seem to have four forward slashes in your link --

But here it is corrected:

That works. I'm still learning how to build the link in the message, but I can't do it yet.

:smiles:

Do "destructive backspaces" to see their list of goodies.

Thanks, folks, from a smart Grandma (and it's all because of YOU)!
