2. I doubt it.
A scandal like that would seriously hurt the repugs with the switch-hitting voters who everybody knows a candidate needs to get elected. That would be like putting a gun to your own head.

IOW, not bloody likely.

5. The booze thing is coming from the White House -
it is designed to make us believe that Bush is sooooo grieved by the Katrina, Iraq thing.

It gives him an excuse for fumbling. And sets up the redemption.

In a few days we will see him on his knees, praying with Falwell and Robertson for forgiveness (Billy or Franklin Graham if they are not already booked elsewhere), asking for forgiveness from Jesus (the American "true belivers"), receiving same from some non-Jesus sources, and going on to greatness because he triumped over evil.

His numbers will go sky high because he repented, cried, whaled and asked for forgiveness. Praise Jesus.

Set up, set up, set up.

true.Nonetheless, I do not mind it getting out to the public and I hope they do buy into it.Anything to drag him in the dirt is fine with me.LOL
