Brit Hume Admits Mistake, Hell Freezes Over, Film At 11
Got this from Media Matters

HUME: Two nights ago on this program, we said that, in attacking President Bush on Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, and the budget, former president Clinton did something that Bush's father did not do, and that is to criticize his successor. That was incorrect. While the first President Bush did so rarely, he did criticize President Clinton and his administration several times, including on his Haiti and Somalia policies. We stand corrected and regret the error.

Ok it's a lame apology but "We Stand Corrected?" I'm shocked I tell ya!

1. Wow.
:wow:

Usually (if that word can even be applied here) they'll correct trivial crap just to make a pretense that they care about accuracy. Never have I seen RWers do this with something that cuts across the grain of their own arguments.

4. If recollection serves, the only reason Clinton was involved with Somalia
was because Bush I got us involved there?

7. I'm not moved.
He was called on this by several folks out there already. He just got caught lying.

That reminds of someone here who was gushing over Geraldo Rivera and his melodramatic coverage. My skepticism was proved correct when it was revealed he made an old woman do a take #2 in his "rescue" of her and her dog.

I'm never taken in by alleged changes of heart of Faux Folks.
