9. It'll slow down recovery.
But the area's supposed to be deserted; pretty much everything's wrecked anyway, most of the buildings beyond repair.

If I had to schedule a flood for some part of the US today, I'd schedule it for the low-lying parts of NOLA proper. Cold, but it would have the fewest repercussions.

Alas, it won't be the only flood.

10. Yes, CNN and Fox are both reporting it. CNN photographer reported
that water is gushing into the ninth ward, and could, by noon, be as flooded as it was after the first levee break.
