My single mother daughter was let go for finding a memo at network printer naming her and 3 others as "expendable". She went to HR and her boss to talk about it and was fired 2 days later for talking about a confidential memo. The memo WAS NOT MARKED CONFIDENTIAL, and yet was denied unemployment cause her former company hot shot lawyers said she didn't use "common sense" in not knowing it was a confidential memo and it held up under her appeal to the state unemployment board (which was not in person but held on a conference PHONE call). They should have fired the stupid boss who printed a memo like that to a network printer!

and was surprised to see that they had a jobs notice on the door. It was for part time work at $7 an hour. Not anything to do with tax cuts. But it's par for the course these days for job "opportunities".
