John Roberts is more than a Bush loyalist

I was watching Al Franken earlier this morning before I went to bed and at the end of the show he had the guy Oliphamet (sp?) who writes for the Boston Globe and they were talking about John Roberts. Basically from their interview I got the information that Roberts is going to be a judge for the corporations. Remember that Bush is very loyal to corporations especially Halliburton. Earlier this year the court made the rule about private property and corporations. I thought it strange that Bush nominated someone that wasn't pandering to the "religious right". I bet the next judge will be. But I don't think they'll ever get rid of Roe V Wade because what else would they have to talk about in their elections and to be able to say "Look! I'm pro-life!" and get elected since a lot of them are hypocrites. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush and company have some new rule/law soon after he's put in.

2. Supreme Court is already pro coroporations

They voted against med mj so that the Feds can keep locking up med patients. It will just get worse, but I disagree, I think they will repeal Roe vs. Wade, among other things.

3. That was my beef. BushInc USES abortion to cloud the REAL issues effecting

every working person....Roberts supports the fascist agenda.

The GOP doesn't REALLY care about abortion, they just love to use it as an ISSUE, because it has proven to be a great tool, like gaybashing, to cloud the perception of the working class and blind them to BushInc's REAL goal - full on fascism.

The rethug leadership consistently smokes both sides with social issues. They really couldn't give a shit other than keeping their loony fringe in play. In the end it's all about money.

Like you said , the next nominee will be the firebreather as a sop to the goobers.

Are those Democratic Senators that stupid or are they in on the game? Roberts will rule against labor, regulation and the environment every time. If Pombo doesn't kill the ESA Roberts will.

I really don't care if it's a done deal. All I know is that there doesn't seem to be anyone in DC representing my interest anymore. They could at least raise some hell, raise some awareness.
