4. At dkos, someone has said that the Washington Post reported
a Pentagon exercise called "Granite Shadow" that was in progress. This seems to be a mock "martial law" exercise for Washington D.C. There wasn't a link to the Post article, so I couldn't learn more. Bush was going, so this post said, to monitor the hurricane and the "Granite Shadow" exercise.


Perhaps someone can come up with more info on this...
