wish i could end this stupid fucking war, wish i could write a protest song that would change the world, wish i could stop a hurricane and dry out new orleans and ease the pain there, but i can't.

wish i could bring jesus back too and he and i could raise holy hell in d.c. and kick some ass. wish i could unite our nation and end this ridiculous polarization, wish i could make bush meet with cindy and feel her pain, the asshole deserter.

wish i could buy you all a nice cold one, and light up a big fat one, wish i had my nation back, and my sanity and peace of mind, but no, we have a bush in the white house. wish i had a giant can of raid to rid us of that giant cockroach cheney.

wish i could paint a masterpiece like picasso's guernica to make people think about the horror of war, and wish i could bring back the 3000 from 9/11, the 2000 dead soldiers, and the hundreds of thousands of innocents in iraq. wish i could make whole the 15,000 crippled soldiers too, and i wish there really were a hell for fuckers like bush.
