double taxation can be beatdown by reality.

Most of these large estates are full of capital gains returns that have never been taxed. Why should Paris Hilton get a free ride?

5. Everything is "double taxed"

I pay income tax. A plumber comes to my house and I pay him for the service with the money that has just been taxed. The plumber will pay a tax on the money I have given him that was already taxed when I gave it to him. His price is based on the tax he will have to pay. The "double taxation" argument for estate tax is ludicrous.
