1. How many people are still out there? |
|
Is that long line of cars still sitting on the highway, or did they get the traffic moving?
If there are still hundreds of cars stalled and moving slowly, right now--something should be done immediately to help those people.

The feed is KHOU-TV. They are reporting that the storm is starting to fade a bit. It will rain like a LOT though...
I hope all those people get help from neighbors...

7. The funny thing is that now it looks like Houston isn't going to get hit |

that hard after all. Those people should have just stayed in Houston. They jump all over the Mayor of New Orleans for not getting everyone out and now Houston, worried about what happened to NO, makes the mistake of trying to get too many people out.
Looks like the Texas Gov. was a little too anxious to show how great he was and jumped the gun. They should have let everyone go at their own pace rather than tell everyone to go at the same time. It caused the traffic to bottle neck.

This was a major overreaction. Most of Houston did not have to evacuate. I'll go on with my ltte latter this week.
