4. Oh, I'm fine. I'm in Missouri.
My kids are still in Gulfport and Biloxi. I haven't heard from them but hopefully it won't be very strong over there.

Thanks.

5. You have kids in Gulfpost and Biloxi? Did you have a house there too?
So sorry for you if that is where you lived. Sounds like mostly rain stuff there from Rita.

6. I am so relieved
I lived in Missouri for 3 years and loved it out there but my family
was back East so I moved back. I was on another thread and there is
a woman whose husband is now in New Orleans, they said the worse areas
would be the ones that are already flooded. Don't know how true this is. Hope your kids are okay.

13. They should be fine
Mississippi isn't in the Tropical Storm warning. Gusts in the St. Tammany LA. area (just west of Pearl River and Hancock county) are only expected to be 40 mph and below. To be honest, I don't even think that the winds will get that high.
Storm surge and rain might be an issue though. Good luck to your kids.

BTW, thank you for the link!!! :)

It's so nice to watch hurricane coverage on something other than a battery-operated TV. :D

8. I have family in Lake Charles. All of them but one are reporting from
Arkansas. One still hasn't. Boggles my mind how terrible this is. I don't know what the hell we're going to do. Our country is being pummeled. Next time some red neck fucker said this is punishment for our sins, tell them this is punishment for bush.
