Incredible pics of the fires in Galveston
Edited on Sat Sep-24-05 12:40 AM by cynatnite
Embers fly in the wind as three buildings burn in downtown Galveston, Texas as Hurricane Rita approaches the coast Friday, Sept. 23, 2005. As the storm approached, at least three buildings caught fire in the city's historic Strand District of nightclubs, shops and restaurants. It was unclear what caused the blaze, but a fallen electrical pole was lying on one of the buildings. High winds whipped the flames from structure to structure. (AP Photo/David J. 2. That's nice. May I inquire as to what is burning where?
How about posting a clue or two.

5. No matter what else you think,
you have to admire the firefighters who are there in the middle of a hurricane trying to fight these fires.

6. Man, I couldn't believe there was a firefighter right there.
Those first responders are amazing... I can only imagine what that might be like for them tonight. Hope they stay safe.
