Crap, Yaga's went down
one wall collapsed in Galveston. Man I used to booze it up big-time there.

1. Did you hear this
on TV or is there somewhere where these things are being updated? I am worried about the Strand and the Grand Opera House. I really do not know Galveston that well but it was the last place where I spent a wonderful day with my brother when he was well before he died and it is killing me that Galveston is being messed up.

CNN, Yaga's is on the Strand towards the eastern end. I'm willing to bet most of the Strand will be fine though.

Pictures on CNN now

3. Thanks.
I don't remember Yaga's but I do know how it is when something you remember well is no longer there. Sorry about Yaga's but thank you about the news. I guess I will have to turn it on and watch.

4. It's a pretty cool place
used to see alot of local musicians there. Sorry about your loss, maybe after the storm it would be a good time for you to re-visit the Strand in remembrance of your brother.
