I am worried about John McCain in 2008

Lets face it, McCain has a higher approval rating among Democrats than Republicans. If Republicans are smart enough to nominate him which I think after the Bush blunder they will be ready for a moderate and McCain or Gulliani (sp) will get the nod.

How would we run against McCain? I think we need to start building a war chest because I think he would be tough to beat no matter who we put up against him.

I think McCain is more of a Diplomat than Bush and I don't think he actually would have taken us into Iraq in the first place. He probably would have done a better job building running the war and negotiating with other country's around the world if he had taken us in. Sure he supports the war now but taking us into a war and supporting one once we have gone are very different things. Perhaps he is worried about the far Right Republican base and is afraid to attack the war effort to much. Now their is a politician for you! Put politics about saving American lives.

Don't get me wrong, as I am no fan of McCain but he is certainly an improvement over Bush. Hell, anyone would be an improvement!

that crippled the economy and sent him packing in '92.
And this after he WON the first Gulf War!!

We need to retake the Congress, both House and Senate in '06,
which starting to look very likely to happen.
That way we can start to dismantle the fascist machine
that's eating our country alive and repeal all the vile legislation supporting it.

It's the only way whoever follows * might stand a chance of a second term.
