2. I'm kind of sick of hearing about the non-Iraq stuff on Cspan so have been
flipping occasionally to the other channels. Nothing but HURRICANE 24/7

4. Be glad, be very, very glad.
Live coverage of the DC demo would not be helpful. You've been watching CSPAN and the speakers. Compare with the Times write up tomorrow. It will be done 'better', I hope.

5. Have you been watching the protest? It's not an anti-war for our
troops. At least not 90% of it.

After watching this since 11:30, now I understand why Cynthia McKinney was the only elected official to show up.

I wonder what Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, and others are thinking? I'm not watching it anymore because it has obviously been turned into an "AMERICAN rally that is pro-Palestinian/Arab."

I am not anti-Arab, Jew, Haitian, Cuban, whatever. I just know that this is going to be used as propaganda against certain people in this World.

Now tomorrow the PRO-WAR protesters will talk about Iraq, our troops, and how we have freed these people. I don't think we will see Muslim Arab leaders speaking about Palestine as well as wearing the same scarf that Yassar Arafat, who was a well-known terrorist and murderer in Jordan and Germany, use to wear and said showed a map of the true Palestine.

I've had it with this BS.

6. ???
What in the world are you talking about? Be more specific please. Explain yourself so that we can understand why you are angry. What does "AMERICAN rally that is pro-Palestinian/Arab." mean?

11. I guess I should slow down when I'm typing because after I read what
I had posted, I could see where you would be confused.

This March was advertised over and over as an anti-war rally. A bring-home-the troops. The first 30-60 minutes of the rally were "bring the troops home and antiwar."

Then there were no more speeches about our troops. There were speeches by Arab Americans and their support of the Palestinians. They were not being antisemetic; however, I didn't know an anti-war rally could be a rally for everything. I believe there was one elderly Jewish man that spoke, and he was pro-palastinian, and describing the wall the Jewish government has put up and that they should tear it down. Basically, the first hour or so maybe was about our troops and bringing them home. Then the whole rally turned to pro Palastinian, Cuban, Haitian, and claimed these were "occupied" countries, just like Iraq. Now who is occupying Iraq while they are the people caught in the crossfire. The U.S. is Iraq's occupoief but we are told we are trying to help the Iraqi people. Even the crowd of people there looked surprised when these speakers would get up talking about mainly the Palestinians.

I see this on the news everynight. I haven't seen a whole lot about the war in Iraq lately on the news since the tragedy of Katrina. I don't think our media can cover more than one story fully anymore.

I'm angry because the rally was very little support our troops and a whole lot proPalesrenion, etc. I cut it off after there were not many protesters standing around anymore to listen to the speeches but to march for the troops.
