Traffic Cams? This is ridiculous.
I can't believe it.

50 people show up to protest a brain dead woman and there's more media than signs. Hundreds of thousands of protesters encircle the Whitehouse and I am watching it on fucking Traffic Cams.

What a disorganized nightmare.

The lack of media attention has to be intentional
given how much attention has been given to much less interesting (and popular) events - especially demonstrations - in the past.

11. That was Andrea Mitchell
Maher's rather clever questioning called her out. You could see her kicking herself that she revealed her GOP bias...but hey, she is married to Alan Greenspan, appointed by (originally) Ronnie Reagan....

5. "disorganized nightmare"?
It is rather willful and deliberate ignoring...
We can't get our media to cover it... not the networks, not the cable companies...

20. Yes - disorganized nightmare.
I would say that whoever is organizing this did a very poor job of herding the media.

Good organization would have had the speeches end and the march begin.

Good organization would have herded the media to the march.

Good organization would have organized video bloggers and set up facilities for uploading and/or streaming.

Good organization would not have shifted the focus to other issues.

Good organization would have meant I'd be watching a protest of hundreds of thousands of people on mainstream TV.

at the bottom of the screen.

Screw the WH, we need to surround CNN.

13. I think a poster from another thread said it best....
take the streets of NYC and shut them down with people. Maybe that's what this admin. wants and maybe that's the natural course for the citizens of this country to do. They will leave us no choice and it's going to get way worse before it gets better. That's the message I got from this.

Sad country. What a sad, sad, country.

15. on Link TV, they questioned whether conspiracy theory existed or
or was it reality that one bridge was jammed closed to prevent traffic from getting through from the Trenton, NJ area???? Do not believe for one minute that a protest like this could ever go smoothly with this neocon administration in place ...

17. Traffic cams not working.
I've tried several different links and none of them work in the areas I want to view. I even got a blue screen that had a date on it of 2004!..?

Putting my :tinfoilhat: on here, but it looks like they don't want us to see any of the march if possible. Sure we can watch the pitiful "Answer"-which is NOT the Answer-rally which had a few good speakers and a lot of stuff that wasn't about stopping the war in Iraq which is what the march is supposed to be about.

Right now I am feeling TOTALLY frustrated by this crap! :argh:

24. I mean that the lack of coverage is "organised"!
When I see a protest march about a particular issue, the very first question I want answered is "How big was the march?"

ie can we get an idea of how many people might support this cause?

And yet this is the last question MSM coverage will answer accurately! Strange eh?

The media will try and get away with not mentioning the march at all... or if that is not possible they will show closeup shots with only a small portion of the crowd visible. Or they will show shots taken as the people were just arriving or the last stragglers were leaving.

No-one working in the MSM seems to possess a wide angled camera lens!

I can't get that one no matter how often I try.

I've got some great screen dumps though from farther away. It's 1:30 pacific time and there are still LOTS of people on the move!!
