Excuses Rush Will Probably Use For His Drug Abuse

These are the ten I've come up with thus far. Does anyone have other ideas?

1. He wasn't on the street trying to buy them himself.
   
2. He could afford his drug habit.
   
3. His housekeeper violated his privacy.
   
4. He didn't rob or steal from anyone.
   
5. He still went to work everyday, he wasn't on the street panhandling.
   
6. He checked himself into rehab, without being forced to go.
   
7. He didn't hurt anyone other than himself.
   
8. Oxycontin isn't the same as heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana or cocaine. It's a prescription drug!
   
9. Blue is his favorite color (read: little blues).

I think there will be a 10 reason denial before you get to any of those.

1. I didn't know these drugs were so addictive.
2. I didn't know I was addicted.
3. My doctor screwed up and gave me the wrong dose.
4. I didn't know it was the black market.
