Aaron Brown from CNN answered my email (Floods vs Protest)
My email to Aaron Brown.

"If Clinton was still in power and 300 thousand people showed up to
protest him, would CNN had of spent the last 7 hours talking about
flooding and a burst pipe in Texas?"

Aaron Brown's Reply, Which he wrote in capslock.

"YES"

5. 300,000?
Where?

Not in DC today. Not by a long shot.

And I commend Aaron Brown, or whoever answered your email, for having a sense of humor. Some folks sure didn't get the joke ............

9. judging by overhead shots
Judging by the footage we have been getting from the international media, I would say around 300 thousand people took part. They showed several shots of the March , people walking down the streets, it was huge!

13. I hope you're right
But, judging from other marches I've seen in my city's streets, this looked smaller than that.

I hope I'm wrong, though.

16. It was at least 300,000- probably more!. I was there- it was astounding!
The people poured in from all directions and kept pouring for hours and hours. There were protesters for as far as anyone could see!

12. Maybe 100,000,
and the joke was that someone responding in capital letters with all those exclamation points was being cleverly sardonic in a friendly way.

I've e-mailed him dozens of times and I've had three responses. Always very negative and cynical....He makes me grind my teeth......MSM....what the hell do you expect?

7. It was a poorly worded challenge, unfortunately.
I think the "If Clinton had done X" questions are always a bad choice. It is too easy for any respondent to brush it off. As Brown just did. Instead, I would have pretended I respected his opinion, and politely asked him what, if any, standards are used to decide what is "news" and what is not, and why simultaneous worldwide protests against the leader of the free world were not considered "news."

At the very least, he wouldn't have been able to blow you off with a one-word answer.

17. the most he can manage is a deep sigh
when he's trying to be "thoughtful."

and that dental work! It blinds me, and it apparently gives him a bit of trouble speaking.

15. Well, to be fair
Coverage of Rita and Katrina probably make Bush look as bad as the protests. Just wait until everyone tries to go back to Houston. 300K protestors. 3 million pissed off evacuees. Bush is screwed by both.
