Poll question: Presidential Preference Poll
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 01:52 PM by VermontDem2004
Alot has happened since we had one of these, it's time for a new one. If one of these candidates dropped out, let me know.

2. Sen. Graham dropped out last night.
He was my choice.

Now, I am undecided.

Good job on calling that Utah win by the way.

6. Good luck with making your new choice(s)
Bob Graham is a good man. Several weeks ago he was interviewed and asked if Bush lied to get us to go to war. Without hesitation and emphatically he replied - "Yes". It was the very first time I heard any of the candidates respond in the absolute affirmative. I could have kissed my tv screen. I was so proud of him and he made me feel proud to be a Dem.

3. I believe graham has dropped out
I'll miss him. He brought a lot to the discussions, and I especially liked his diary and periodic "regular workman" days. I hope he goes for the Senate seat.

27. I wouldn't write him off 100% just yet.
I was surprised to see him polling poorly in some of the Southern states, but I still think he brings a lot to the table. He's the darkest of dark horses at this point, but I still think he's in the race.

38. I know people
who still call Bill Clinton President Clinton or President Carter etc. It is just honorable imo to call someone by their prevous job title, I forgot to but Amb. for Braun but it is way to late to edit my post.

25. hmm i didn't expect to see Clark supporters are more abundant that Deanies
on DU.

Always Dean, Clark, Kucinich, Kerry in that order in these polls, it gets boring after awhile ;).

26. Undecided category
There should be an undecided option. In the past we couldn't do it because there are only 10 possible options but now with only 9 candidates the 10th option should be for those that are undecided.

35. It was pointed out that Clark is a retired general and Dean is a former

governor, so I looked at the list again and note that Carol Moseley Braun was given NO title. Her most recent title, the one that's used when she's introduced, is "Ambassador." Just for reference for those who start polls in future. (And watch out where you put Dean in the polls, some of his supporters have thin skins.)

41. I might get the same reaction
if I put Clark at the bottom of the polls, I had no idea some people would point out Dean was on the bottom. Now I got a response from someone urging me to do it alphabetical order next time.
