Favorite Part of the Day: The March itself has to win, but meeting our fellow DUers was such a wonderful close second.

Time for bed, a really, really fucking long-ass drive awaits us when we wake after a long and enchanting day.

It was FANTASTIC! I went down by bus from Brooklyn. Left at 6AM and got back at about 11PM. Just finished uploading the pics to this online album, and now I am going to sleep.

When I saw the WW2 vet with his sign and crutches I had to rethink my decision to beg off these events due to M.S. and wheelchair needs for long treks. Maybe next time I'll recruit a companion and give it a go. Being there "in spirit" as a name on our DU sign was nice but if 100,000 to 300,000 or however many there were aren't enough to get some major media attention, we'll have to start doing everything we can to UP THE NUMBERS.

And boy - would I like to catch them IN OUR WHITE HOUSE.
