Battle for America airs on Current

Watch if you can get the channel.

Here's the schedule:

I didn't think Gore would have the balls to put this on TV.
This is really not something you will see on CNN.
But this was the most popular video in the screening room so he can "blame the people".

Grace at Camp Casey debuted today on the channel, as well.

Gore has some guts that's for sure.

1. ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!
This is what I was waiting for from this network. Not ridiculous "pod casts", but if that's what it will take to get the young'ens in long enough for them to be able to catch this in between, then I'll accept that.

2. You have to understand a few things:

1.Most people -- especially most young people -- are not insterested in politics. Or as they say "preachy things". They never were and never will be. That's just a fact of life everywhere in the world not just in the US.

2.There are a lot of other subjects which are at least as interesting and worthwhile as politics.

3.Gore has to be very careful. If the channel will be perceived as some kind of left-wing FOX news it will lose viewers.

4.Because both Battle and Camp Casey got a bunch of votes on the network's site given the concept of Current they have to air these pieces, unless they want to lose credibility.

So it's a fine balancing act. Later it can change but frankly I don't want Current of becoming a left-wing FOX because I myself am interested in a lot of other things than politics and it's nice to see what some kids can do with a relatively cheap cam. This one

is really really good, for example.
