I've been doing the onine forum schtick ever since it was invented. My husband ran the first "BBS" (bulletin board system) in our town and I became rather addicted at that time. Have been so ever since.

Just started posting a week or two ago. My daughter and son-in-law are in the Air Force ... not deployed yet, but she's sheduled to go to Iraq in the near future. I'm seriously stressed over it. They have a beautiful 4-year-old son, our only grandchild. I'm worried about the kind of world he is growing up in.

I don't, and never did, support bush*. Neither do my kids, although they are forced to stand up and applaud when he comes on base to give a speech.

This is such a great group and I'm very glad to be here!

I was curious if DU was growing or not and wrote down the number of registered members near my computer a week or two ago. Since then, DU has added more than 1100 new registered users! Yayyyyy!! GO DU!!!!
