Dear Meet the Press and Mr. Russert,

Mr. Russert's bullying, Grand Inquistor grilling of AARON BROUSSARD on MTP today was a low point in television history for me.

Maybe if Mr. Russert would get off his duff and get out there to New Orleans and see what it's like to live down there with no services and destruction everywhere he could learn to have some compassion for his fellow Americans in their time of need.

I will not be watching Mr. Russert's MTP again. I had stopped watching when all he did was Push the Republican Agenda and ignored all the information that there were no WMD in Iraq. His constant promotion of Bush and the Republicans was bordering on propaganda.

But, in the last few weeks I did tune back in to MTP, hoping the press had finally awakened after Katrina Disaster.

Sadly there's no hope for the Buffoonish, Boorish Mr. Russert and his producers who insist on his ill informed pomposity.

after I heard Mrs. tom explode in laughter "boy, this guy's making an ass of russert!". But here's the part that really pisses me off. Just like that ho andrea mitchell on Maher's show the other night russert made several (admittedly lame) attempts to get Broussard to say that there was failure at all levels (feds state and local). It's like they.ve finally accepted that bush and his admin have screwed the pooch big time but are trying to raionalize it by pointing out that others failed also. It sounds more hollow every day, like they are trying to convince themselves that their boy isn't fubar.

Why are you spending time trying to fry the president of the LA parrish once again for his heart wrenching story about the woman who died in the nursing home after Hurricane Katrina? I am outraged. He never accused anyone particular level of government of murder. He simply wanted someone to stop wasting time with news conferences and get busy. The bottom line is that the woman died because she was caught in the flood water and no one got to her or her fellow residents. The blame issues were not what he was talking about. The American public get it, Timmy. It is only the media who don't get it.

Your attack on this man today is an abomination. It is so clear that you were told to take the heat off of your benefactors from this man's story.

What I am pleased about is that this man handed you your ass, Timmy. Yeah, maybe he has some issues in his past. Who of us doesn't, Timmy? His basic story is real. Stop trying to attack the locals. They are going through hell. Start asking some real questions about real issues, Timmy. This was never a real issue, was it?
