VIDEO-my take on the Warmongering Freeper Rally today
Rally

I left out most of the blab, lots of crowd shots, men falling off stages, criminals, and gay male escorts.

3. They are some of the ugliest people I've seen
All 200 of them. But beside that, their message is so stupid. Support the mission, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda. What mission is that? From what are they protecting the US? Answer that. One of the senators of Alabama said that it was to spread freedom and democracy around the world. Wow, he must have brushed up on his PNAC readings. We better then go to England as well because isn't that place some crazy Consitutional Monarchy.

4. Perfect synopsis. Although I would have enjoyed more pictures
of the "crowd" shots (or lack thereof), men falling off the stage (details!), criminals (you know Liddy had to bring his buddies) and gay male escorts (I'm betting Gannon/Guckert was Sessions date for the day).

You did a fine job. Thank you.

I just saw someone took a header! Who fell down? I missed it when it happened.

Suggestion: adding a bit of the shrieking closing song by Ms. Angel might set it off just right! Was that bad, or what?

16. So I wrote Sen. Sessions and called him on his lies
Edited on Sun Sep-25-05 04:33 PM by Clark2008
I happened to catch your speech from the pro-war rally in Washington DC this weekend and wondered if you had been living in a cave for the past few months.

The majority of Americans do NOT support the Iraqi war and favor bringing our troops home. In fact, 67 percent of Americans - a majority - do not approve of the way George W. Bush is handling this war and 59 percent believe going to war in Iraq was a mistake. http://www.pollingreport.com/iraq.htm

So, quite honestly, I have to wonder about the company you keep when you make statements that most Americans aren't like those war protestors since you said you didn't know anyone like "them."

And, yes, Sen. Sessions, one can both support the troops and not support this war. Retired Gen. Wesley Clark supports and loves the troops, but he also warned Congress in 2002 that going into Iraq would be a logistical nightmare considering we hadn't done the job in Afghanistan, yet.

Maybe you just need to get out more and meet with some of your constituency, many of whom make up those numbers I quoted above. You'd find that there is vast support for our troops, but dwindling support for this elective "mission."

What an idiot. He apparently doesn't read the news like his buddy Bushie if he thinks the war protestors are the minority in this country, now.

That gave me the opportunity to see Dr. Jack's actions that I mentioned on the 'official' rally page.

Now, it might just be a coincidence or my imagination, but as Dr. Jack prepares the crowd to say the Pledge, he holds his arm out to them in a Seig Heil fashion and asks, "Everyone knows what's up, right? Up."

Then he moves his still outstretched arm and points it to the flag behind him and recites the Pledge. Isn't it conservatively correct to put your hand on your heart while saying the Pledge? What's with this "up" stuff?

41. I saw that and thought it strange myself
Only thing I can think of is he was doing it the very old way. There used to be a salute a long time ago but then Hitler came along (he probably got it from the guy who wrote the pledge who the salute was named after) and it changed to your heart. And of course when they said "under God" they screamed it. :eyes: Like that makes you more holy.

47. The flag was defaced!!
These losers need to look at the US Code under respect for the flag - why are they bringing attention to that desecrated and defaced flag?

http://www.access.gpo.gov/uscode/title4/chapter1_.html

TITLE 4--FLAG AND SEAL, SEAT OF GOVERNMENT, AND THE STATES

CHAPTER 1--THE FLAG

Sec. 3. Use of flag for advertising purposes; mutilation of flag

Any person who, within the District of Columbia, in any manner, for

figure, mark, picture, design, drawing, or any advertisement of any
nature upon any flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States
of America; or shall expose or cause to be exposed to public view any
such flag, standard, colors, or ensign upon which shall have been
printed, painted, or otherwise placed, or to which shall be attached,
appended, affixed, or annexed any word, figure, mark, picture, design,
or drawing, or any advertisement of any nature; or who, within the
District of Columbia, shall manufacture, sell, expose for sale, or to

49. I mentioned that to the family, too, as we watched, it was def a nazi
moment, but what he meant when he said 'you know what's up don't you?" was about saying 'God' in the pledge. If you find a clip of just that part and listen, they all scream 'God' when they recite it. How stupid is he, that he's so intent on making the God point that he doesn't see that he's forgetting our country in favor of his religion.

28. I wonder if they consider their "rally" a success
To me it looked pitiful and pathetic. I am outraged by the one who said we are not what America is about. Those 200 losers ARE? Where were the military families they were honoring, where were the veterans? I think a LOT of them were marching against the war...

That they could only get that many people to show up, and think they're the majority is so delusional. That someone offered up the opinion that she was "Casey Sheehan's mom", and Cindy was not, was downright nuts. I know I should expect shit like that, but what planet are these people from? I'd venture over to freeperville to see if they think the "rally" was a success, but i feel so dirty when I go over there...

What a bunch of fucking lunatics. Oh I forgot, bad language is BAD - 200 people who don't use bad language is so much more powerful than hundreds of thousands, some of whom do use bad language....what a bunch of fucking lunatics!

my 3 yo daughter and I were down at the mall this afternoon to see some trains at the history museum (she is a fanatic about trains) and while we were driving around the mall looking for a parking place we saw the pathetic pro-war movement. There was 200 ppl there MAX. It was really sad.

We parked at the other end of the mall and walked to Camp Casey. I tried to explain that the crosses were for soldiers that couldn't come home from the war, and that everyone was really sad. She seemed to get it.

35. I'm watching it now
Thank you for cutting it down. Oy! And did you notice during the pledge when it came to "under God" they shouted it louder like it's supposed to make them more holy then Cindy Sheehan or any other Christian in this country like myself who oppose this war? Hmm last time I looked there was a little something called "love thy neighbor" Christ said... And last time I looked I was called a Christian because I followed Christ etc. And lol this one guy said they were the majority? Uh look at the crowd size and compare and contrast and did they have any large numbers in demonstrations around the country or around the world? If you want to make this world a better place (it's Senator Jeff Sessions) why are you going around and making thousands more of Hussein's or BinLaden's? Why are you killing innocent children and families who will grow up to hate you and this country and make all of us less safe? LOL I love how that Jones woman put words into Cindy's mouth. :eyes: And if she doesn't like Cindy and the rest of us having our first amendment rights why doesn't she leave? :eyes: LOL They bring up Al-Jazeera again. :eyes: If you haven't seen the documentary "Control Room" definitely watch it. It'll show why Donald Rumsfeld put out this anti-AlJazeera statements and the rest of them repeat it. I wonder if they even know what the hell they're talking about and she doesn't even say the name of the channel right. :eyes: There's an "a" at the end (sorry sometimes things like that get to me heh). Uh she's being Casey's mother? WTF? Cindy isn't praising her son? Uh I don't recall a moment where she didn't ever praise him. What a nut case! Anti-American? Uh no sweets. :eyes: Just anti-war and anti-George Bush. Please get the separation right. :eyes: Good point of the desecration flag behind him. LOL!!! How hilarious! I bet Mr. King didn't even notice it. LOL! To him that isn't desecration. Don't forget the Tshirts also is considered desecration. Ohhh so now protesters are Socialists. :eyes: I think America knows who they are and what they believe according to the poll numbers Mr. King. Uh what poll numbers is he looking at anyways? Oh Mr. King is such a freakin liar! The Congress did not give authorization and it was because of a danger with WMD'S!!!! NOT FREEDOM ASSHOLE!!!! Oh gosh, that is Jeff Gannon! What's he doing there? I'm still wondering what in the world he was doing in the White House at PRIVATE INVITE ONLY parties and election night! At the end what were they cheering about with the helicopter? I didn't get that and who was that who fell?
