Karl Rove here: Look, you guys scared the shit out of us Saturday…
600,000 people united in an activist coalition. Damn, it was all we could do to keep the images out of the press. We’re not sure how long we can keep it up. Sooo, could you do me a favor…

Could you start some serious infighting? You know, criticize all your leaders and organizers without offering credible alternatives. It would help us all here get some serious sleep. I mean, I have a major city to loot reconstruct, and a grand jury to obstruct, so I’ll be plenty busy without having to worrying about larger and larger protests.

Thanks loads…

1. Corporate America..
Is going to read this as a paradigm shift and adjust their backing accordingly. Saw it in the sixties, all of a sudden every thing was "groovy" and they coveted the peace movement. That could translate into pressure on the right to move away from Iraq.

6. Coke already has re-released an updated version of
"Teach the world to sing" campaign. I saw it the other day. Instead of a moutain top, they were standing on a roof singing this jingle. I found it a bit strange, actually. Maybe if we hadn't seen so many people stranded on their roofs lately, it might have been ok or I might not have taken much notice of it. But, it was a bit sureal to see them standing on a roof singing about peace and harmony, sponsored by a soda company. What the people of NOLA would have given to be able to have a coke and sing while they were stuck on their roofs ... just bad timing for this ad campaign I guess.

But, you might have a valid point there.

14. I want to hear old Judith sing
In perfect harmony
About the slip of karl roves lip
To end her misery.

I want to buy little george some coke
To keep him company
And a bottle of Beam or a baseball team
Just keep him away from me.

It's the ree-al thing.

12. Ken melhman
reminds me of that annoying little fluffy-type dog that looks unassuming at first, but keeps on barking incessantly, bearing its teeth, growling, and trying to lunge at you.

Typical repug politics at its finest.

11. What should've gotten their attention or "scared them" is not only
the numbers, but the age range of the people who took to the streets to protest yesterday. There isn't any one single age group to target.

Hehe, first Karl has a kidney stone are ulcers next?
