2. I heard the same thing on KYW1060 AM news out of Philadelphia.

The actual story made it sound pretty pathetic, but while reading the initial headline at the top of the hour, the newsreader really emphasized the word "honoring" in the phrase "honoring the troops". Dick.

31. I was there. There weren't even 200. I took pictures and will post...

them on Friday when I get them back. There were more people at camp Casey I took them with a film camera and am waiting for them to get put on CD. These were taken from all different angles and not those tight shots that make it look like there are more people than really are there.

I was lucky to catch them before I came back home on Sunday. There was some nonsense going around that these Pro-War people were calling themselves the "silent majority" and I had to go see it for myself. When I got there I almost couldn't believe how pitiful it was. It turned out that it was more like the "misinformed minority". The pictures will speak for themselves.

Technically they're correct for Saturday. There were more than 100,000 there and I read that CNN reported 600,000. But to pad Sunday's pro-war protesters is really lame. I watched it on C-Span and if that was 500 protesters then I guess we had 5 times as many as was reported on Saturday!
