So far they've debunked the Administration claim that the catastrophe couldn't have been foreseen. Showed video of hurricane preparedness PSAs that were shown in NO before the hurricane-also Nagin on a talk show saying people should make plans. Next-there's enough blame to go around.....will be interesting to see what they say next.

3. If it's the one hour piece I'm thinking of, MSNBC has played it every

weekend for the last 2-3 weeks. A really good interview with a woman who worked at FEMA for a long time -- she rips FEMA response big time.

4. Ah, yes, "enough blame to go around." The new meme

People like Tim Russert bring that up whenever someone starts to talk about the failures at the federal level. "Oh, but there's enough blame to go around..." so in other words, let's dump on someone other than Bush, here, because my corporate masters don't want me to go there.

8. What fat tim forgets is that

shit, water, and blame are supposed to roll down hill. He starts it at the bottom of the hill and never even ties to push it up hill. With fat tim it all just accumulates as a toxic mess at the bottom. He works just like Katrina did.

5. Blaming Nagin now

for not mandating evacuation early enough, though 80% got out. Now they are showing the infamous photo of the school buses.

But now they are saying that it would have been better if the state and feds had come in-talking about bringing in Guardsmen, but most are saying "failed system and failed policies" of the Federal Government. A senior FEMA is talking now-

Not enough predeployment of assets before the hurricane.

repeating this post Rita. Katrina is not going away.

MSM will have to continue asking how many people died? Have their bodies been recovered. Those questions need answers. I saw the author of a book on the Galveston hurricane of 1900 on CSpan saying that they undercounted the number of dead African Americans then. They must not be allowed to get away with this again.
