Bush says he is ready to work with Arnold.... |
|
Does that mean he has never been ready to work with Gray Davis? Is this just his way of telling all the Repubs it's "OK to vote for Arnold". And trying to make it appear that the WH is not really involved with the election. However, as someone posted earlier, the GOP plans on spending more money in California next year than they plan in Florida or New York...actually almost double as much. It appears California is their target state already and Arnold is just the first step in their strategy to take California?

3. That BUSH is willing to work with anyone, is a miracle in itself~~~ |
|
Of course, they've been working on this deal ever since the last election when they didn't get the California electoral votes.

there isnt a chance that BUSH can win CALifornia, none. Just do the MATH. Davis the least popular DEM in the state will get more votes to stay in office (even if the recall passes) than a moderate like Arnold. However once BUSH comes to CA it makes AHnold a full fledged wingnut and there is all that baggage. Bush cant win there. In fact if anyone can offer a scenario where he can make up 900,000 votes (his margin of loss to GORE) i would like to see it.

Arnold is Rove's stalking horse. All this debate about him personally and his "policies" misses the point. Put the levers of state government in the hands of the GOP and presto - delivery for GWB in 2004. That's what the recall is about. That's what Arnold's candidacy is about. We are losing our nation. Watch for more of the same this fall; watch for war in 2004 with Syria. Dissent? Toast. The right-wing media? Unless Limbaugh is brought down in the next two months, they get a free ride to shut off dissent. Please look at the big picture. Good post.

They can grunt and dog sniff each other. Politics taken to the lowest common denominator. Amazing.
