Wolf Snitzer's opening comments
Edited on Tue Oct-07-03 04:16 PM by madmax
Gray Davis cast his vote today at the same polling office where a porn star and pornographer, Larry Flint cast theirs. Arnold and Maria cast their votes at a mansion that sometimes doubles as a polling place.

:wtf: Why is it relevent? Is this newsworthy? Anyone paying even a little attention should be able to see thru this type of media bullshit.

1. see through what "bullshit"? Blitzer is a Democrat...
even though he is a fanatical supporter of the State of Israel and a pro-imperialist nutball.

9. Sorry, that is bullshit
not journalism. Wolf is supposed to be a "journalist," and he has no business reporting such sensational and irrelevant tidbits as that.

4. Just the customary insidious sneers
Remember Newts' "contrasting words"

Try and think like a filthy, psychomanipulative PR person...

(no offense, BevHarris, we know you use these evil powers for the side of GOOD)

Davis = porn star, pornographer
Arnold and Maria = mansion

Which words have better connotations to their "target audience"?

Right.

There was a time when I would have thought this was all a matter of chance word selection, and maybe sometimes it still is. But I have seen Corporate TV Pravda embrace Newts' weasel words (in a weasel-like fashion--not above board because Basic psychology says it's harder to manipulate people if they know they are being maniplauted) across the spectrum from CNN to Faux, from AP (one of the most heavily infiltrated and Prudenized organizations, IMHO) to Knight-Ridder.

It is modeled (accounting for 50 years of progress in psychomanipulation) after the Afrikaner strategy to kick out the "Liberal British" in 1948, which included as it's centerpiece the Broederbund infiltration and takeover of the Mainstream S. African Media in much the same way the Busheviks have dismantled ours.

When they are finished, we will have a Pravda that Stalin or Hitler would be proud of, especially in it's increased ability to deceive it's victims into thinking it is a "Free Press"

Just like Hitler's Sub-Media. Just like Stalin's.

5. Don't worry...
What kind of audience does Wolf have? A couple million? Out of 250 million...I don't think he carries too much weight. :)

I, for one, think CNN, Faux and MSNBC get WAY too much attention considering how LITTLE attention most Americans give them. JMHO

7. So Republicans are rich and Democrats are degenerates
Well, I guess that explains Arnold's bipartisan appeal -- he's rich AND he's a degenerate.

12. I know, I know
that's what makes my blood boil. It's a gratuitous and irrelevant slam.

I pay more attention to this sort of smear since it became so evident during the bush/Gore campaign. I'd never noticed such reporting prior to selection 2000.
