U.S. soldier dies in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq — A U.S. soldier was killed Sunday when his vehicle rolled over during a patrol in western Iraq, the military said.

Two other soldiers were hurt in the accident at Trebil, near the border with Jordan.

3. Makes me angry

because * keeps saying he sent our troops in there to "free" the Iraqi people. We now know that Iraq has formed an Islamic Theocracy akin to Iran which is curbing religious and women's rights.

* wants us to believe things are going well, and people are now free. But I have heard report after report where certain groups (such as Iraqi Christians) are now wishing for the "good 'ol days" of Saddam.

I am also upset daily at * telling us we're fighting the terrorists over there, blah blah. Fact is he just created a new terrorist state in Iraq where none existed before. How do you call THAT bringing peace, democracy, and stability to the Middle East?
