by the people, of the people and for the people, wasnt really any of the three. it was when boxer and a representitive got together on jan 6 to challenge the election. otherwise i dont know of any time the senators has participated in march. i dont think they should. and i dont think they think they should. there are to many conditions out of their control in that kind of a situation. like the rally turning into anti isreal, pro palestine, free the phillipines, communist and proud of it kinda thing.

the congress does its job and i think they have been doing a fine job in this new session with repug control everything. they have spoken up, though others may refuse to hear, or say it isnt good enough. marches are for the sharptons, and jacksons, the now famous sheehan and the whoopi's and the people. not congress

isnt this precident. anybody have information on why they dont do marches? or information that they dont do marches?

Does anyone remember back to vietnam? did senator join those marches?

1. One fine day the Klan came to town
and three thousand people turned out to tell them to go away, they're not welcome in this state. Among those three thousand people were Senators Paul Wellstone and Mark Dayton. I know this because I was there too and I spoke to them.

Guess what Mayor Norm Coleman was doing that day. He was at a barbecue and telling people not to go to the counter-protest.

2. Look at this history of the VVAW
and note the Senators and Congressmen who not only joined marches, but sponsored and spoke at some of the events. There's some biggies on the list, including Kennedy, Muskie, McGovern, Conyers, Abzug, Chisolm, and Senator-to-be Kerry.
