CNN reports "smaller than expected" crowd to support the war ;)

This will make you scratch your head. What is CNN/AP doing here? Reporting the truth? But then again, they also say the big rally was "tens of thousands." I guess they're still downplaying the big rally but at least they're telling it like it is with the non-existent anti-anti-war counter-rally. Nonetheless, it was nice to see the headline on the CNN home page.

We had the votes in 2000 and 2004 and I will never believe otherwise.

That much passion, from our side, went into both elections. The 2004 even more than 2000.

We have got to get FAIR elections with paper ballots or we can March forever and never win at the ballot box.

We got sold the election results because of the so-called"values" voter; the ones who like to be lied to on causus belli, busted treasuries, no-bid contracts, incompetence on 9/11. So, less than 1 year since the election, there should have been a theoretical 600,000 people turning out for the pro-Bush rally today to reflect their majority. They were only 599,500 short of that number. Where'd they go? Hmmmmm. Personally, I think the biggest con of all time was perpetrated on the American voter last November.

11. This saying refers to the idea that past wars have been

fought for real political reasons, i.e. Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWII. However, I would guess that many of the smaller actions in our days have not been for any real kind of good cause. We know that we were lied to in both Vietnam and Irag. How many of the little actions around the world where for reasons other than stated? We owe it to the troops to make sure they are never again sent to war for some a-holes personal economic gain.
